Volunteer for Books to Borrow!

Books to Borrow is a lending library program for children. For almost 2 years, we have been partnering with Neighborhood House, Project for Pride in Living (PPL) and the St Paul ECFE programs to promote literacy, family engagement and strengthen community by providing easy, early access to quality children’s books.

Volunteers will assist each child in selecting a book to bring home, and read with children 1-1 or in groups during this informal free play time.

Many of the students and their parents are recent immigrants where English is not their first language. We have developed posters/fliers to assist in communicating about the Books to Borrow program.
